Generally 7 to 11 inches of snow fell across the area with 6.5 inches of snow reported at Cedaredge 10.5 NNW.

Wider weather episode

A strong cold front associated with a low pressure trough moved through eastern Utah and western Colorado, bringing cold enough air to generate moderate snowfall at the higher elevations of the western Colorado mountains. Strong winds also generated areas of blowing snow among the higher elevations. Snowfall was very limited in the lower elevations due to the milder air.
