Trained spotter reports golf ball sized hail with heavy rain and about 25 MPH wind gusts. Falling hail did shrink to 1 inch by 19 minutes after the hour.

In the mid-afternoon, a line of thunderstorms formed in northeastern Colorado and proceeded to the southeast through northwestern Kansas. 1.75 inch hail, multiple gusts around 60 MPH were recorded, and an estimated 70 MPH gust flipped a truck.
