Lenoir County EM called to report power lines down and trees down on hwy 55, near Moss Hill Elementary School, hwy 903, and Liddell Road. Many power outages were reported in this area as well.

Several batches of thunderstorms developed and moved through Eastern NC during the evening hours. A few storms became severe and produced damaging winds.
