Tree damage was reported southeast of Woolsey, including a large tree that blew down into the roadway near the intersection of Catharpin Road and Catharpin Valley Drive.

Wider weather episode

A cold front intersecting a hot and humid airmass resulting in the formation of several bands of thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms produced scattered swaths of damaging wind, with one instance of considerable severe wind noted over southern Maryland.
