There were dozens of calls for hundreds of large trees, tree limbs, and wires blown down in the northern end of Saint Mary's County near Charlotte Hall, Mechanicsville, and Golden Beach.

Wider weather episode

Several bands and clusters of thunderstorms produced scattered instances of wind damage mainly near and east of Interstate 95 in Maryland and northern Virginia. There were a few instances of considerable wind damage in Maryland.
