Event narrative

A storm survey was conducted northeast of Bolivar where a church suffered structural damage to its exterior wall. There was also roof damage and a collapse of an interior room within a large metal office building. Several trees in the same area were laying to the south, west and east. The damage was classified as thunderstorm downburst winds.

Wider weather episode

Severe thunderstorms with damaging winds moved across southern Missouri during the afternoon of June 25th with additional storms later in the night into early on the morning of June 26th.
