Event narrative

Thunderstorm winds blew down fifteen trees. One of the trees was a 45-foot tall maple tree that was uprooted at a residence along Route 92 in Neola. The winds also blew off the roof of a garage and pushed it away by 500 feet.

A hot and humid air mass combined with an approaching cold front helped to spark an isolated thunderstorm that became severe across Greenbrier County. Thunderstorm winds blew down a notable number of trees and also blew a roof off a garage and pushed it away by 500 feet. Hail up to the size of quarters also fell from this storm.
