Strong thunderstorms formed along sea-breeze and lake-breeze boundaries across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi during the afternoon of May 29th. Dry air aloft favored strong wind gust and hail development. A couple of the strongest storms produced strong winds and severe hail.
