An area of showers and thunderstorms tracked across eastern New York during the afternoon hours on June 7, 2024. A few of these storms because strong to severe producing some damage to trees and power lines, mainly across Saratoga and Washington counties. One of these trees fell onto a home near Cossayuna Lake.
