Around 15:18 PM CST, a NWS Employee reported several large tree limbs knocked down 3 miles north-northeast of Adrian, MO in Bates county from a severe thunderstorm wind gust.

Wider weather episode

On the afternoon of May 21st, strong to severe storms developed over far eastern Kansas, and moved into western Missouri. These storms produced some hail, damaging wind gusts, and one tornado in Henry County.
