A large tree was down on a house at Good Farm and Lincoln Roads in Gardner.

Wider weather episode

A cluster of strong to severe storms moved across Chicagoland during the night of the 24th immediately followed by a line of storms which went on to impact northern Illinois through the morning of the 25th. The storms produced mostly wind damage, mainly to trees, as well as some marginally severe hail. The storms also resulted in one man being struck by lightning in Marengo.
