Wider weather episode

A small line of severe storms crossing east-central Illinois bowed out while crossing far southwestern central Indiana. Steep 0-1 km lapse rates and high amounts of low-level moisture promoted severe winds reaching the surface within the core of the cells. Widespread 50-55 mph winds included embedded, isolated damaging winds from the strongest gusts in Knox and Daviess Counties.
