Hailstones ranging from 2 to 2.5 inches were reported. A 2 inch hailstone was measured using a ruler and another hail stone was slightly smaller than the baseball it was measured to.

Wider weather episode

A pair of nearly stationary storms developed in Southwest Nebraska during the late afternoon into the early evening and produced hail stones up to 4 inches in diameter.
