Event narrative
Pea to sporadic ping pong ball sized hail fell over the location. Spotter reported that the ground was becoming decently covered by the smaller hail stones.
Wider weather episode
A supercell developed over the Nebraska Panhandle and moved into extreme Southwest Nebraska where it produced hail up to the size of golf balls in Hitchcock and southwest Red Willow counties. The largest hail stone fell near the town of Palisade, Nebraska.
