Event narrative

Spotter reported a lot of pea sized hail and a few ping pong ball sized hail stones fell over the location.

Wider weather episode

A supercell developed over the Nebraska Panhandle and moved into extreme Southwest Nebraska where it produced hail up to the size of golf balls in Hitchcock and southwest Red Willow counties. The largest hail stone fell near the town of Palisade, Nebraska.
