Strong thunderstorm wind blew down several trees onto roads.
Wider weather episode
Strong to severe thunderstorms developed over northeastern Kansas during the early morning hours of the 26th, ahead of a cold front and weak upper level disturbance. These storms evolved into a line as they moved south-southeast across Kansas. This line of thunderstorms produced damaging wind gusts as they then moved through eastern Oklahoma during the morning.
