Several trees were downed, and minor roof damage was caused to homes in the I-24 Exit 1 and Tiny Town Road areas in Clarksville. Damages are a rough estimate.

Wider weather episode

A line of thunderstorms moved south through Middle Tennessee during the evening hours of August 17, 2024. These thunderstorms were severe when they first entered the area with severe winds downing trees and causing minor roof damage. While they weakened below severe criteria as they moved into the Nashville area, winds were still strong enough to down a few more trees.
