A severe thunderstorm producing wind gusts estimated at 60 mph knocked down multiple trees between Pine Hill Road and Wertzville Road approximately 1 mile west of Enola.

Weak surface troughing in an environment of ample instability and moisture allowed for convection to occur across east-central Pennsylvania during the afternoon and evening hours of June 22, 2024. Severe thunderstorms produced concentrated areas of thunderstorm wind damage with occasional small hail reports throughout the evening.
