On the evening of August 28th, a line of strong thunderstorms pushed northwestward across Apalachee Bay and made landfall across portions of coastal Wakulla and coastal Franklin counties with measured wind gusts in excess of 34 knots. A similar pattern occurred again during the evening of August 29th.
