Wider weather episode

Showers and thunderstorms developed as a cold front pushed through North Dakota. Initially, a funnel cloud formed to the east of Minot, in Ward County, along a surface boundary with rain showers and weak thunderstorms. Additional thunderstorms developed with a couple of storms becoming severe over McLean and Oliver counties. The largest hail reported was a half-dollar in size, and occurred at Center in Oliver County.
