Trees and wires were reported to have fallen down along Roy Furman Highway.

Modest height falls as a slow moving shortwave trough crossed the region resulted in a few strong to severe storms ahead of a surface cold front. Strongest shear (25-30kts) was observed largely south of Pittsburgh allowing for more organized convection and a heightened severe threat.
