Severe Drought conditions expanded to portions of the county and were improved to Moderate Drought in the Drought Monitor on July 30th.

Severe Drought started in portions of western Pennsylvania on July 16th. This would be continue to some degree through the remainder of the month for portions of the counties in the forecast area, with some improvement in Greene and Washington counties as a result of 2-4 inches of rain.
