Strong thunderstorm winds knocked down wires onto a roof of a building on Willow Avenue.

A weak area of low pressure tracked along the NY/PA border triggering showers and thunderstorms beginning late in the morning. With a warm and unstable airmass in place, one storm was able to become severe early in the afternoon in Lackawanna County, knocking wires down onto a building.
