Event narrative

Strong thunderstorm wind blew down multiple trees.

Wider weather episode

Strong to severe thunderstorms developed across portions of northeastern Oklahoma during the evening of the 15th, ahead of an approaching cold front. The atmosphere ahead of the cold front became very unstable during the afternoon and early evening across eastern Oklahoma, which supported severe thunderstorms that produced large hail up to half dollar size and damaging wind gusts.
