D2 Drought conditions developed for a sizeable portion of North Central Alabama, including portions of Lauderdale, Limestone, Madison, and Jackson Counties in Northern AL. In Southern Middle TN, Lincoln, Moore, and Franklin Counties.

D2 Drought Conditions developed in early July thanks to less than normal rainfall for the area. Should drier conditions persist, drought conditions will worsen this Summer.
