Spotter and utility company reported a couple of trees blown down in the Woodfin area, including a tree down on power lines.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms and storm clusters developed across the North Carolina mountains during the afternoon western moved east into Piedmont during the late afternoon and evening. A few of the storms produced brief damaging wind gusts.
