Thunderstorm winds downed numerous trees across the roadway at the intersection of Rock Lily Road and Wirtz Road. Damage values are estimated.

Wider weather episode

A strong cold front was centered over the region and was the trigger for several showers and storms. Some of these storms produced damaging winds which brought down many trees. Lightning from one thunderstorm struck a tree, which caught on fire, in Campbell county.
