A trained spotter estimated a 60 mph wind gust 2 miles northeast of Ostrander.

During the late afternoon and evening hours on September 19th, storms of various modes moved across portions of southeast Minnesota bringing strong winds and hail. Most notably, a semi-trailer was blown over on State Highway 63 in Filmore County resulting in minor injuries to the driver.
