Severe thunderstorm wind gusts downed a large tree blocking Derry Rd. in Nashua.

An upper level disturbance brought multiply rounds of showers and thunderstorms on August 4th, as amble low level moisture and instability was in place over New Hampshire. Most storms were strong with heavy downpours and gusty winds, with scattered storms causing wind damage along with an isolated area of flash flooding. Slow-moving showers and storms produced flash flooding across portions of southern New Hampshire. Heavy rainfall rates over 2-3' per hour resulted in local accumulations over 3 inches across the City of Manchester.
