Tropical Storm Francine continued to weaken as it neared the Mid-South. Francine weakened to a post-tropical cyclone on its northerly track. A corridor of up to 50 mph wind gusts developed across north Mississippi. Days of prior rainfall in addition to gusty winds was able to produce tree damage across north Mississippi.
