Visibility of one eighth of a mile was reported in Merced, Madera and Atwater.

High pressure build into central California following the departure of the system which brought widespread precipitation to the rea the previous day. With the addition of lo level moisture along with clearing skies and light winds, a area of dense fog formed along the SR 99 corridor in Merced and Madera counties and reduced visibility to an eighth of a mile. The fog completely dissipated by late morning.
