2024-10-17 · Pike, Indiana
Wider weather episode
Patchy freeze and frost brought an end to the growing season for parts of the region. Low temperatures in Southwest Indiana fell to 30-32 degrees; however, locations near the Wabash Valley and highly populated locations remained above freezing, causing the first freeze to occur outside the defined growing season. High pressure had moved directly over the region allowing for clear skies and calm winds.
