EF-1 Tornado confirmed by NWS Storm Survey. Discontinuous 6 mile path of damage, with several areas of extensive tree damage with dozens of snapped and uprooted trees.

Wider weather episode

Showers and thunderstorms tracked into western New York as a shortwave trough and cold front crossed the area. A few of the thunderstorms became strong to severe. One storm developed a tornado in Allegany County. Heavy rainfall associated with the showers and storms did cause some Flash Flooding in Cattaraugus County.
