A cold front sweeping through southeast Ohio during the late afternoon of October 6th led to an isolated instance of storm damage in Vinton County. Several trees and power lines were knocked down by the strong winds associated with passing convection aligned along the front. Storms then quickly shifted off to the east for the evening.
