Report and photos of a waterspout via broadcast media located in the Pascagoula drainage basin. Photos and radar estimated position just north of Interstate 10 and west of Escatawpa/Highway 613. Time estimated from radar.

Wider weather episode

In a typical summertime pattern, convection fired up along the seabreeze during the afternoon timeframe. One cell was able to take advantage of vorticiy from surrounding boundaries and produced a brief waterspout along the Mississippi coast.
