D2 (severe) drought conditions continued across much of Somerset County throughout the first half of November 2024 before beneficial rainfall and snowfall allowed for some recovery across eastern portions of the county. D2 (severe) drought conditions continues across southwestern portions of Somerset County throughout the end of the month.

Severe (D2) drought conditions continued through the month of November 2024 across portions of southwestern Pennsylvania, including portions of Somerset County, far southern Cambria County, and southwestern Bedford County. Beneficial rainfall and snowfall across Cambria and Bedford counties allowed for improvement across the area late in the month, with drought status dropping below severe criteria.
