State Highway BB was closed due to flooding of the Big Piney River.

Wider weather episode

A round of heavy rainfall occurred across southern Missouri during the early morning hours of December 16th. A corridor of two to four inches of rainfall fell across areas south of Interstate 44. A few instances of flash flooding occurred which led to water rescues and elevated stream levels.
