Severe (D2) drought conditions persisted across mainly Tallahatchie County in north Mississippi through November. Temperatures in November were above normal while precipitation was widely below normal. Pastures across the area provided little to no feed and supplemental feeding of livestock was required. The Mississippi River remained below normal streamflow and near record lows.
