A 58 mph wind gust was reported at UP846 2.0 E Quinter (UPR). An additional 53 mph wind gust was reported at Weatherlink site WPE Weather near Campus.

Wider weather episode

High winds developed across the region resulting in numerous instances of wind gusts greater than 50 mph. The strongest wind gust was 62 mph in Goodland, Kansas. A downed power line also led to a grassfire near Rexford.
