Event narrative
The northeast third of Brown County was designated in Severe Drought (D2) at the beginning of the month, with the remainder of the county designated in Moderate Drought (D1). Above normal precipitation from October 29th through November 7th brought an end to the Severe Drought (D2) across the northeast third of the county. The precipitation total at Green Bay during this period was 3.09 inches. Additional precipitation during the rest of the month resulted in Brown County no longer being in any classification of drought after the 18th.
Wider weather episode
Drought that developed in September continued across northern Wisconsin into November. Above normal precipitation brought an end to the Severe Drought (D2) across portions of northern Wisconsin during the month.
