Dense fog with a quarter mile visibility developed around 130 AM and continued through 730 AM before lifting.

Surface high pressure settled over southeast Missouri in the evening, as skies cleared. Dense fog formed over the region with the visibility dropping to 1/4 of a mile at Perryville and under a 1/4 of a mile at Cape Giraradeau. The dense fog was mostly confined to the Current, Black, and St Francis rivers over Carter and Wayne Counties.
