Mesonet station (LKSN2-Stateline) located 1.0 mi NNW of Stateline, NV

reported a peak wind gust of 73 mph.

This next storm system and attendant cold front brought periods of light valley rain and higher elevation snow, gusty winds, along with colder temperatures. The strongest winds from west and northwest occurred overnight on November 17th into the early morning hours of the 18th. Gusts up to 30-40 mph were expected in western Nevada valleys, while Sierra ridges saw winds above 70 mph. The bulk of the rainfall fell across NE California and northern Nevada, with a 70-90% chance for the Sierra crest to accumulate another 1-2 with some terrain favored areas west of Lake Tahoe seeing up to 4 inches of snowfall along the crest.
