A snow squall passing over the Interstate 80 corridor in the South Laramie Range resulted in near-zero visibility due to strong winds and blwoing snow. A WYDOT sensor at Vedauwoo along Interstate 80 reported visibility below one-quarter mile and 50 MPH wind gusts. Webcams showed poor visibility along the interstate.

Strong northwest flow and convergence boundaries lead to the development of snow showers and snow squall in southeast Wyoming the afternoon of 1/22.
