Power lines were knocked down in Phil Campbell.

East to southeast winds became gusty during the evening hours of the 13th as areas of moderate to heavy showers moved into north Alabama. The winds gusted at 35 to 45 mph for brief periods, knocking down a couple of trees and a power pole in northwest Alabama.
