Long duration snowfall brings widespread 4-6 inch accumulations countywide, with locally higher totals over northwestern portions of the county. Highest accumulation of 7.2 inches observed in Reedsburg.

Wider weather episode

An Alberta Clipper crossed southern Wisconsin, bringing a long duration of snowfall to the region. Most locations saw between 3-6 inches of accumulation, with over-performing totals during an evening band of heavy snow in east-central Wisconsin. Storm total snow accumulations in the 7-11 inch range occurred over this area, which were higher than forecast. Snow-covered roads led to multiple crashes, one of which was fatal in Dane County.
