Freezing drizzle results in a light glaze of ice on untreated roads and surfaces.

Two bands of lake effect snow impacted far southeastern Wisconsin from the overnight hours of January 5 into the morning of January 6. The snow bands brought measurable snow to Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha Counties, with the highest totals focusing far northeastern Kenosha County and extreme southeastern Racine County. Areas of light freezing drizzle accompanied the second lake effect snow band, resulting in a glaze of ice accumulation on untreated roads and surfaces in Sheboygan, Ozaukee, Washington, and Waukesha Counties. Minor vehicle slide-offs and accidents occurred as a result of the glaze.
