A picture that showed one quarter of an inch of radial ice on one side of a tree limb 3 miles to the east of Grinnell.

Wider weather episode

A winter storm consisting of a mixture of freezing drizzle, freezing fog resulting in thick rime ice and light snow occurred across NW Kansas. Reports of up to one half inch in radial ice accumulation was reported via social media pictures across the area along with snow up to 2 inches.
