Social media reports with pictures of 0.4 inches of radial icing along the side of fuel pumps near Brewster. An additional report with picture of 0.25 inches of radial icing covering a fence post 1 NE Colby and along one side of tree branch. These were from persistent freezing drizzle and freezing fog.

Wider weather episode

A winter storm consisting of a mixture of freezing drizzle, freezing fog resulting in thick rime ice and light snow occurred across NW Kansas. Reports of up to one half inch in radial ice accumulation was reported via social media pictures across the area along with snow up to 2 inches.
