Some of these winds were strong enough to cause damage in the form of downed trees and power lines. Portions on Henry, Carroll, and Pittsylvania Counties reported trees down. Two power lines came down in Carroll County. Heavy rain occurred during the early morning hours of the day across Patrick County, with anywhere between 2.75 inches and 3.50 inches falling across the foothills of the Blue Ridge. Rainfall rates were observed at around 1 inch of rain per hour with the passage of the heavy rain. This resulted in minor stream flooding across portions of Patrick County.
