A robust dry cold frontal passage brought gusty post-frontal winds through the Evansville Tri-State area overnight on the 4th into the 5th. Winds gusted to 54mph at Owensboro-Daviess County Airport (KOWB) and 44mph at the KY Mesonet site northwest of Calhoun in McLean County. Gusts of 38-39mph were also observed in Union and Henderson Counties.
